How moving in Santiago
The better way to visit Santiago is the TAXI Particular. That are private cars of cuban people . You'll have to pay maximum 2 Peso Convertible inside the city.
You can use also the OFFICIAL TAXI(please control the taximeter is very visible). The minimal rate to pay is 1 Peso Convertible. Take the taxi in Parc Cespedes (50 meters to the house) avoiding to call otherwise you'll pay greater rate. You can found official taxi also outside most important hotels.
Other solution is to use Bicycle Taxi. You'll have to pay maximum 1 Peso Convertible.
You can use also motorbike . You'll have to pay maximum 1 Peso Convertible inside the city.
Remember, for go to the airport you have to take an OFFICIAL TAXI . Generally the price Center Santiago-Airport Santiago is 5 Peso Convertible.
I advice to you not use
Rent car inasmuch the traffic signs is insufficient and the traffic lights are puttings after the stop to the center of the crossing, very dangerous!
